Emblecat. Estudis de la Imatge, Art i Societat is a research magazine of interdisciplinary content in the field of humanities.
It especially deals with the following thematic issues: Languages (text and image), Women, feminine image, Festivals and traditions, Visual and Sound Arts and Art trade market. Also in the Reviews section are reports on current affairs, preferably international linked to Catalonia.
Until 2017 the title of the magazine was "EMBLECAT. Revista de l'Associació Catalana d'Estudis d'Emblemàtica, Art i Societat".
Emblecat, Estudis de la Imatge, Art i Societat is edited and published by Emblecat Edicions, where you will find the editorial policy, the bases and other documentation necessary to publish a study, as well as the list of specialists who have collaborated in the blind review of the articles.

In this magazine you will find research articles that take us to the polychromy of a 14th century vault keystone, to the story of a Steiner doll, to the life of the Marxist activist Jeny, to the work of artists Joaquim Mir , Mariano Andreu and Irene Narezo, to the critic of the journalist Puaux, linked to the Parisian art of the Spanish artists of the turn of the 20th century, and to the activity of the gallery owner Àngel Marsà in the promotion of art.
The reports include the exhibition at the Carmen Thyssen Museum in Málaga on the realisms of the 1920s and 1930s in Spanish art, the exhibition experience at the Autonomous University of Barcelona of contemporary artists and the exhibition by the artist Paco Anglada.
