Human development is deeply influenced by the technological environment at all stages of life, from childhood to advanced adulthood. In childhood, the use of screens can have positive effects, such as interactive learning and the development of certain digital skills. However, excessive exposure can negatively affect cognitive development, motor skills, social abilities, and physical health, making it essential to establish usage limits according to the recommendations of the World Health Organization (WHO). Social media, for its part, plays a prominent role in the formation of personal identity, especially during adolescence. While it can foster the creation of communities and self-expression, it can also contribute to issues like social comparison, which affects self-esteem and body image. In advanced adulthood, technologies offer great benefits, such as supporting cognitive health, ommunication with family and friends through video calls, and health management. Applications designed to stimulate memory and attention can be helpful for individuals with disorders like Alzheimer's. Finally, a section has been added on the contributions and issues of the impact of AI on human development at various stages of life. In conclusion, although technologies can have harmful effects at certain life stages, they also offer opportunities for well-being, learning, and social connection. The challenge lies in finding a healthy balance that promotes positive development at all stages of life.
