The review La Cataluña is considered the official publication of catalan intellectuals at the beginning of the twentieth century. In its pages were exposed the main political proposals of this group, as well as their social, cultural and artistic points of view. Their arguments were pointed to reinforce the particular Catalan vindications, but at the same time they are part of the Spanish regeneracionismo.
