Contra l’antropologia posthumanista

A partir del debat sobre les nocions de compromís i comunitat, es confronta una posició designada com a “posthumanista”, fonamentada en la presa de consciència de la nostra inevitable interdependència i en la qual la dimensió col·lectiva (el “nosaltres”) ocupa el lloc preeminent, amb una posició etiquetada com a “neopersonalisme”, la qual considera clau la lliure decisió de servei al col·lectiu per part de l’individu, decisió presa a partir d’un moment de transformació que abasta tota la persona i no només el coneixement racional. Aquesta aproximació comporta una defensa de la llibertat personal davant d’un possible sotmetiment de la persona al col·lectiu.

ABSTRACT: Departing from the discussion on the notions of commitment and community, a confrontation is established between a position designated as “post-humanist”, based of the awareness of our inevitable interdependence and for which the collective dimension (the “we”) ranks as preeminent, with a position labeled as “neopersonalism”, in which the free choice of service to the community by the individual plays a key role, choice grounded on a transformation step that embraces the totality of the person and not only its rational knowledge. This approach entails a defense of personal liberty against a possible subjugation of the individual to the collective.
