A rare eighteenth-century pamphlet, printed in Girona (1763), is edited, contextualized, and presented in a facsimile edition. It documents the organization and execution of a literary competition of rhetoric and poetics held at the College of Sant Martí in Girona, at a time when the Jesuits maintained a higher school of Latinity there. In a second appendix, we reproduce the pamphlet of the Palestra Literaria from the school of primary education (La Bisbal, 1818).
