The behaviour of Juana I de Castilla had experienced manipulations and had been used in many cases without respecting the historical facts. In this study we analyse some important years of her life: the period starting with her mother’s dead (Isabella I) and finalising when her father (Ferdinand the Catholic) takes the government of Castilla. The hystoriographical treatment of Juana is taken into account in this study and the madness signs attributed to her are assessed.
